Frequently asked questions

Any resident of Trelawny — and their family members — can join. We began serving sugar-estate workers in Long Pond in 1968 and today welcome everyone across the parish. You become a member-owner by opening a savings (shares) account.
A valid government-issued ID, your TRN, proof of address (such as a utility bill), and your opening deposit for shares. You can start your application online and finish at either branch.
A secured farmers loan is backed by collateral (such as savings or equipment) and typically carries a lower rate. An unsecured farmers loan requires no collateral — ideal for working capital and seasonal needs. We're proud to offer both, something the big banks don't.
Most applications receive a decision within a few business days once your documents are complete. Apply online and we'll guide you through every step.
