Membership FAQs
Who can become a member?
Anyone who lives, works, studies, or does business in Trelawny, or is a relative of an existing member.
What do I need to open an account?
Valid ID, TRN, proof of address, proof of income, two references, and a minimum deposit of $1,500.
Loans FAQs
How long does it take to get a loan approved?
Approval can take 24–72 hours once all required documents are submitted.
Do I need collateral for every loan?
Only secured loans (like mortgages, auto loans, and secured farmers loans) require collateral. Unsecured loans are based on your income and credit profile.
Savings FAQs
Can I open more than one savings account?
Yes! You can have multiple savings products including Ordinary Deposits, Partner Plans, Fixed Deposits, and Golden Harvest
How is interest on savings calculated?
Interest is calculated annually on your account balance and credited at the end of the year.
Insurance FAQs
What is the Family Indemnity Plan (FIP)?
FIP is a life insurance plan that covers funeral expenses for up to six family members with no medical required.

How do I reactivate my dormant account?
Visit any branch with valid ID, TRN, proof of address, and complete the Dormant Account Reactivation Form.
